This is an opportunity to join the fast-paced account handling team of a successful commercial insurance brokerage that has been established for over 20 years.
The commercial team have experienced increasing demand across multiple of their offerings – both direct to client and via sub broker, and have continually developed an outstanding reputation for their service – which has seen increasing influxes of referrals, recommendations and new client enquiries.
Therefore, they are ready to interview and hire a new Account Handler to take on a varied role: handling cross-class commercial business both direct to client and wholesale. Experience using acturis preferred.
Day to day in the role, you will handle existing accounts and referred enquiries, focused on delivering a cost-effective and time-saving service; speaking and meeting with commercial and sub broker clients, producing quotes, liaising/building relationships with underwriters/insurers, placing business and managing renewals and MTAs.
The ideal candidate would be passionate and dynamic; and thrive when working at pace, and taking the lead on relationship building and service delivery. And that will enjoy the opportunity to earn performance related bonus, and work with a sought-after set of insurer relationships and client enquiries.
Based in Bromley – flexible to work in office or from home, or in their London or West Kent base.
Salary £25,000 + performance related bonus. With great scope for career development
Free parking at the office. 25 day holiday + bank holiday
Previous use of insurance software such as Acturis would be an added benefit. Commercial experience essential
