Software Online Trainer
Location: Maidstone / WFH / Combination
Salary: £20k - £25k

Are you currently supporting Accounts Software and would like to move into a Training role or perhaps you are already a Trainer who would be interested in Training on a comprehensive software suite consisting off standard off the shelf modules and bespoke programmes? The Education & Media team are responsible for maintaining existing training material, creating new courses and generating video and audio content for their online training service, webinars and newsletters. In addition to client training, the Education & Media team are responsible for delivery of internal training to staff and supporting the Sales team.
We are looking for an Education & Media Technician to be part of a dynamic team, assisting a corporate and professional customer-base with onboarding and training solutions, and maintenance of training material video and audio content for the online training service, webinars and newsletters.
Due to the recent Covid crisis, my client significantly adapted their working practices to embrace the requirement to work from home. As a result, they are now able to offer this role with the option of being based at their offices near Maidstone in Kent or home-based, anywhere in the UK.
If you are home-based this would be subject to you having a professional work environment and good internet connectivity at your home. My client will supply the appropriate IT equipment for the role, such as a PC, display monitors, voice headset, etc.
Responsibilities
· To assist the Education & Media Manager in maintaining and/or developing suitable training material for use on the company’s training courses
· Dealing with customer emails and similar communications. Keeping all email correspondence up to date and filed within the customer directories
· Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers
· To assist the Education & Media Manager in the scheduling and organisation of customer training courses
· Escalation of client queries where necessary to more senior members of the team/manager
· Required to plan and organise own work in a rapidly changing and technical environment
· Maintain other training tools such as the UK Training Cloud server, e-learning software and Cloud server
· Record system enhancements and bugs in the internal bug register
· To assist with the maintenance and development of training material to assist users in the operation of the company’s templates
· To assist with the preparation of video and audio training material
· Act as Organiser for delivery of client training webinars
· Manage the company’s social media presence as directed by Client Services strategy (LinkedIn and YouTube)
· To maintain your professional knowledge, and remain up to date with current trends in the accounting software and cloud software market
· To provide office based pre-sales support
· Reviews of client reporting requirements
· Query handling
· Creation and maintenance of demo files
Competencies
· To ensure that a good level of understanding and knowledge of the organisation’s products and services, which is improved and maintained at all times, ensuring that customer queries can be dealt with accurately and appropriately.
· To speak positively and enthusiastically about the company and its products and services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided at all times to customers and colleagues.
· To communicate courteously with all customers, building positive relationships and progressing issues and queries to a successful conclusion at the earliest time.
· To work together with other departments within the organisation to identify any process improvements and improve standards, efficiency and profitability.
· Such other general and administrative duties as the management may from time to time reasonably require.
