Online/Office Assistant (Maternity Cover)
Part-time
16 hours over three or four days per five-day week
The Carmelite Charitable Trust (registered charity) runs the Faversham based Shrine Office. Income generated by the Shrine supports the work of the charity and the British Province of Carmelites.
This income broadly falls into four areas:
i. Income in response to a mass market newsletter which generates donations alongside amounts generated by an annual raffle; donations at the shrine; Guild of Saint Jude membership; and sales of religious items
ii. Legacies
iii. Income generated online – shop; donations; and other areas – includes online newsletter
iv. Rent from Welcome Centre and Brother Anthony McGreal room
The post holder will administer online services, including the shop, donations site and other online areas. The post holder will report to the Development Manager. Working from home with some office work to start with due to Pandemic.
