Assistant Financial Controller
Margate
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Hours - Full time
Our client, a leading specialist in logistics for Europe, is currently looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis at their Margate site
As the Assistant Financial Controller, you will be responsible forâ¦
* Providing accurate accounting information and reports to senior management
* VAT reporting, Weekly cashflow and expenditure/income reporting
* Maintaining fixed asset registers
* Pro-forma P&L reporting to senior levels
* Deliver information and reports to a strict accounting deadline
* Reporting across all levels and inter-team with data and analysis
* Assist the Group Financial Controller in providing forecasting and commercial data analysis
Person Specification:
* Qualified or finalist with - ACCA, CIMA or ACA is essential
* Good analytical and excellent organisational skills required for the role
* Ability to use and build on Excel spreadsheets essential to the role
* Experience in use of accounting systems high desirable
* A proactive and analytical approach would be highly useful
* Proven background in financial and budgeting analysis required
* Educated to degree level
