We are looking for QA Test Automation Engineers with strong Automation experience.
Knowledge of Gherkin and Cucumber would be of particular interest.

Are you currently a QA Test Automation Engineer? Would you be interested in a QA Test Automation Engineer role with the flexibility of being based remotely from home?

Due to the recent Covid crisis, my client significantly adapted their working practices to embrace the requirement to work from home. As a result, they are now able to offer this role with the option of being based at their offices near Maidstone in Kent or home-based, or a combination of the two.

If you are home-based this would be subject to you having a professional work environment and good internet connectivity at your home. My client will supply the appropriate IT equipment for the role, such as a PC, display monitors, voice headset, etc.

We need someone with Test Automation experience, who can help build a suite of robust automated tests during their product migration from desktop to cloud.

Working from home and occasionally, when required, at the Maidstone office you will be part of their well-trained Quality Assurance team, who are responsible for testing their desktop and cloud products.

The role will be focussed almost entirely on Test Automation, on Web-based Products, but also, where possible, providing Test automation for legacy desktop products. It is a hands-on role, you will be writing and maintaining bespoke Test Automation routines and helping develop this discipline as the product range grows.

Their software helps their high-profile client-base produce Year end Accounts, Tax returns, Audits and Audit Checklists that meet with UK and IFRS reporting standards; therefore, it is important that the software is developed and tested to the highest standards. Knowledge of any of these products would be helpful, but not essential. Product Managers and Developers will provide guidance on automated test targeting.

Working in an Agile environment the role demands a large degree of flexibility, and the ability to see the big picture as well as the detail. There are excellent opportunities for advancement within this role as the products suite develops.
