Senior Carer
Thanet
£9.70 per hour
Hours Full Time - 5 days per week (including some weekends)
Our client, a leading specialist care in a residential setting, is currently looking for a Senior Carer to join their team on a permanent basis. Would suit someone has had previous experience in the care setting with leadership history
As the Senior Carer, you will be responsible for theâ¦
* Providing staff with guidance of care in line with all latest person focused practices/regulations
* Reporting to Deputy Manager on shift
* Maintaining skill levels in team and upskilling where appropriate
* Supervise and support team of carers on shift
* Ensure the service and actions of team are person centric in line with H&S guidance
* Deliver a quality service with care at the forefront of all you do
* Work as part of a team, communicating with team on other shifts
Person Specification:
* RQF Diploma level 3 Health and Social Care essential
* A good communication skill level would add value to the opportunity
* Supervisory/Management qualification would be ideal
* Willingness to expand training and knowledge would be desirable
* Experience of safeguarding and care plans would be essential for role
* Ability to develop others and nurture upskilling would be very positive
* An understanding of the regulatory framework that governs the service, including the role
of CQC and their requirements would be advantageous
