JUNIOR IT/AV TECHNICIAN – FULL TIME

We require a Junior IT Technician to work within the I.T department across both Senior and Junior Schools. The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week all year round.

The purpose of the job will be to provide support to both staff and pupil users of computing services as well as day to day supervision of the IT Team.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
• To provide First/Second line Helpdesk support to all users
• To assist and support teachers and support staff and pupils in their use of computing services.
• To assist in the maintenance and technical operation of the school’s networks, av and computing hardware and software, including the deployment of appropriate software.
• To participate in such rotas that are set up from time to time by the Director of IT services for the distribution of the department’s workloads.
• Maintain a high level of customer service for all support queries including ownership feedback, allocation and follow up. Utilisation of support desk and conformity to ITIL processes.
