Hrgo are seeking an experienced Customs Clearance Clerk for our Client in the Dover area. Good analytical and excellent organisational skills are essential, and you must work in a methodical manner and be able to respond effectively to enquiries. Responsible for customs management for road and sea freight.
Duties include:

Calculating Duty / VAT cost for each consignment
*
Processing Import/Export declarations
*
Dealing with general enquiries from importers / exporters concerning all areas, relating to Customs Procedures, Tariff Classifications, Duty Rates and any other documentation requirements
*
Keeping up to date with changes in regulations, laws and customs procedures
