Supply Chain Project Lead - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Pearson Whiffin are currently recruiting a supply chain project manager to join an established manufacturing business in Rochester
Our client is looking for somebody with previous experience managing large supply chain projects or has previous senior supply chain experience, who can take responsibility for the two projects and also help the existing purchasing manager when needed.
Duties
* Run two large scale supply chain projects
* Manage large data sets
* Make commercially viable decisions with the business needs in mind
* Work with the existing supply chain team to ensure on time project delivery
* Assist with general supply chain duties when needed
* Liaising with suppliers and clients
What we require:
* Extensive Project management / Supply chain skills
* Effectively communicate with different levels within the business
* Advanced Excel is desirable
* Highly numerate
* Highly organised
* Enjoys working as part of a team
