Skilled Sheet Metal Worker
We are currently looking to hire experienced sheet metal fabricators to join our team on a permanent role with a successful long standing company with a very small turnover of staff.
J.A. Glover are a successful manufacturing and supply company with a factory based in Chatham, where we manufacture ductwork for commercial and residential properties throughout the UK.
Your role will consist of:
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Use of machine tools such as presses, guillotines, punches
Use of hand and hand machine tools
Company benefits:
28 days paid holiday inclusive of public holidays
Pension
Overtime sometimes available
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.00 - 4.30
Salary will be negotiable depending on experience
Start date ASAP
Full time, Permanent
Desired skills:
A great attention to detail
Be able to apply logic
Work in an organised manner and adapt well to changes
You will also need to show and demonstrate an aptitude for this type of role.
Personal qualities
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate commitment, be focused, highly motivated and keen to learn.
