We're looking for a Technical Fire Surveyor to be an integral part of the Development Delivery Team to ensure the team plays its role in delivering 4,000 new units per annum in accordance with the business plan.
This is a national role covering sites from Plymouth to Cheshire. You'll be part of the Development team reporting into the Director of Delivery and will deliver first class specialist and technical service to the business providing assurance of practice and standards for statutory compliance.
Working with the Senior Health and Safety manager, as well as the Group Health and Safety Director and other internal Fire teams, providing design advice in regards to new developments, making sure that the project conforms to all relevant statutory requirements.
You'll be responsible for Fire Assurance of our technical teams in delivery of key risk operations and be proactive in monitoring senior technical and operational staff.
Other responsibilities include:
* Ensure that the "Duty Holder" maintains compliant against the HRRB License requirements and the Statutory Requirements of Fire Safety
* Building Safety Case File Assurance
* Ensuring statutory compliance with future legislation
We're seeking professionals with experience of working in a construction, building or facilities management role and environment, preferably with experience in the social housing or residential management sector. The successful candidate will have a NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety and IFE Graduate Membership.
