Insurance Claims Handler

Barker Munro Recruitment, Insurance recruitment specialists, are currently working withn an ever expanding business based in Kent, that is currently looking to recruit a Commercial Claims Handler to join its team.

Responsible for handling from cradle to grave a portfolio of commercial claims – this includes investigating, reserving and negotiating settlement of Commercial claims across a range of areas including premises, loss of revenue, EL, PL and contents including both litigated and non-litigated claims.

The business is expanding rapidly and has integrated commercial claims into the business to run alongside their personal lines portfolio.
The successful candidate will be required to build policyholder confidence by developing rapport through effective communication, validate each claim against policy coverage, arrange for payment to be made within authority levels and liaise between internal teams, third party suppliers and policy holders.

We are seeking applications for individuals who have Commercial insurance Claims handling experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be a capable and confident negotiator and have a proven track record in dealing with liability disputes
