Our Global client is looking for a key appointment to join them and their team and as their technical specialist based at their site in South Kent to provide critical support to the business in pre and post sales for their product portfolio and applications. The Application Specialist/Portfolio Manager will have responsibility for the site's products with regards to strategic promotion, training of sales teams and distribution partners, product quality, managing part numbers & pricing amongst other things.

This is absolutely a technical role and requires a detailed understanding of electrical power systems, test and measurement principles and the processes of asset condition assessment. Training will be provided on an ongoing basis.

The person & qualifications

* Ability to prioritise effectively and multi task are a must
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated
* Customer focused with customer facing communication skills
* Computer skills (for MS office packages, social platforms, analysis software and internal IT systems)
* Minimum qualification L3 in electrical engineering, higher level qualification would be preferred
* Understanding of and experience with electrical engineering systems
* Willingness to travel (UK and international)
* Full drivers licence preferred
