SEN Teaching Assistant Job in Canterbury, Kent. Flexible job, experience needed + Clean DBS enhanced required

Your new company
Hays are working in partnership with local Primary & SEN schools in Canterbury and the surrounding areas. We work with Ofsted rated "good" & "outstanding" schools in the area with inclusive ethos and strong community feeling. These schools are mainstream schools that also offers support to students with SEN. This job will begin when the schools reopen after lockdown.

Your new role
This is a varied role offering both one to one support for children with SEN for example; Autism, Learning Difficulties and Behavioural needs plus also delivering group interventions. You will be expected to adapt and tailor lessons to students with different educational needs and backgrounds. Furthermore, you will liaise with colleagues and peers to receive and deliver instructions and provide feedback.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have SEN experience and you can back it up with examples and references. Passion for the role is vital and a desire to improve education and develop students learning will make you the ideal candidate for this role. Drive and determination is needed in a demanding position where your hard work will provide benefits far beyond salary.
