Our client, an acquisitive and highly successful international Group, have created a new role in their Kent offices for a Finance Manager. Working closely with the Head of Finance, this role will take responsibility for a number of sites in the UK and Europe and support the provision of key financial information for this established but growing business.

Key areas of responsibility to include:

• Supporting the month end process, including ensuring accurate and timely reporting whilst coordinating investigation of variances to budgets and forecasts with commentary.
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes, highlighting risks and opportunities and seeking out ways to improve accuracy of the forecasting.
• Acting as a business partner, building relationships with managers cross functionally across the business, including supporting the operations team.
• Ensuring timely and accurate submission of reporting divisionally and to the Group, including month end reporting and capex reporting.
• Managing KPI’s and undertaking business critical analysis including on customer profitability.
• Project based work including responsibility for driving cost savings.
• Ensuring sound processes and controls are in place.

Candidates will be formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and possess a strong sense of initiative, have excellent time management skills with the drive and ambition to make a difference and add value. Recent experience in a complex multi-site business is essential and experience within a product-based business would be advantageous in addition to international exposure. Strong IT skills including intermediate Excel and proficiency with an ERP system are a pre-requisite.
