Injection Moulding Machine Setter

£25k - £30k Depending on experience

Hours Full time, Night shifts. 12hr shifts



Our client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Machine Setter for their Ramsgate site. Would suit an experienced Injection Moulding Machine Operative who would like to benefit from a competitive salary and good working environment



As the Injection Moulding Machine Setter, you will be responsible for the

* Providing technical expertise and knowledge on all aspects of the process to the team
* Leading of change implementation and input for improving quality & production standards
* Recommending tool settings and optimising operational practices including SMED
* Checking and recording machine performance and maintenance requirements
* Develop trouble shooting procedures for roll out to team and site
* Ensuring safety adherence in operational practices with regards to machines/tools
* To lead by example the improvement of housekeeping standards
* Lead new product introduction trials
* Partner with toolmaker on machine/jig and tool repairs/maintenance



Person Specification:

* Requires professional qualification or qualified by experience.
* Good communication skills, verbally and written would be advantageous
* Forklift truck licence would be advantageous
* Ability to feedback ideas and improvements to management team desirable
* Ability to solve technical issues and identify technical machine issues
* Can work autonomously and as part of a team to improve performance
* Able to undertake physically demanding work
