Atlas Recruitment Group are currently searching for a Vulnerability Analyst to join a financial services organisation in the central Kent area on a permanent basis.
This role is going to bridge the gap between the Infrastructure and security teams as the successful candidate's main purpose will be to identify any vulnerabilities within the networks, operating systems, and applications.
After vulnerabilities have been detected, it will be down to the analyst to create MI Reports going over their findings as well as the technical solutions to be able to resolve this. Once this has been reported to the InfoSec Manager, he will then get sign off for the project that needs completing and hand this over to the Infrastructure team to implement.
Whilst this is a hands-off position, there is a requirement for the successful candidate to come from a technical background so they can better understand the situation and create technical solutions.
Outside of this, you will be working with key stakeholders within IT as well as the wider business to ensure that vulnerability and patch management are implemented in the most effective and efficient manner.
