Based in Ashford, in Kent, Sunray has been designing and manufacturing high specification steel doors to protect commercial and industrial premises throughout the UK for well over forty years.

We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable individual to work within the fabrication team. The ideal person would have proven experience in a similar environment and have skills within the following areas,

• To carry out the welding, fabrication and assembly of components and sub-assemblies in the Sunray Industrial Division
product range and if required for stock

• To carry out the welding, fabrication and assembly of components and sub-assemblies in the Sunray Security Division
product range and if required for stock.

• Provide production timings as required by the business.

• To perform quality inspections during and after manufacture to ensure standards and procedures are being upheld.

• To contribute towards the construction and implementation of continuous improvement programs on the shop floor including product, jig, and fixture development.

If you have a flexible attitude with the ability to learn and work quickly and retain information due to the large number of variations of products, work as part of a team but with minimal supervision we want to hear from you.

Standard Hours of work: 39 hours per week
Monday – Thursday Friday 08.00am – 17.00pm, Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm

Additional hours / overtime will be required to help meet business demands.
