We're looking for registered nurses to join us here at Strode Park Foundation. We're offering full and time hours and our pay is competitive at £15.50 per hour (day rate), £16.40 per hour (night rate), £31 per hour (Bank Holiday day rate), £32.80 per hour (Bank Holiday night rate)
The role
As a Registered Nurse at Strode Park you will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager in ensuring that our residents nursing needs are met at all times with high quality. You will offer a person centred approach to independence, well-being and choice to our residents while having the ability to work well under pressure, problem solve and communicate effectively.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for our nurses to:
Be a Registered Nurse
A valid Nursing and Midwifery Council pin
Have a strong interest in working in adult care services and we really want you to have a desire to make a difference
Be kind, courteous and reliable
You will have a strong commitment to respecting the rights of residents at all times and we expect you to promote their privacy, dignity and independence throughout their lives
You will be caring and compassionate towards people in need of care and support.
Have experience of medication management
Have an understanding of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty (DoLS)
Have an understanding of Safeguarding Processes

Strode Park Foundation has been caring since 1946, providing vital care, support services, care at home, supported living opportunities and day and leisure services for children and adults with a range of disabilities.
This job is based at Strode Park House in Herne. This building is set in 14 acres of beautiful grounds. It is a nursing and residential home offering both long and short-term care for adults aged 18 and upwards. Our home is registered for 55 beds, and we offer a relaxed homely environment for our residents. We are also pleased to be able to offer short-term neuro-rehabilitation and respite care.
