An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced, proactive and motivated Gardeners to join the small but passionate gardening team that look after the gardens and grounds within the precincts of Canterbury Cathedral.

With over 1 million visitors each year to this World Heritage site, this is an excellent opportunity for Gardeners with drive and enthusiasm to play their part in making the Cathedral gardens a 'destination' of note.

Under the direction of the Cathedral's renowned Head Gardener, you will be given the opportunity to personally maintain designated areas and offer creative input. You will share knowledge and gain knowledge from other members of the team and offer demonstrable experience in gardening, plants and techniques and at times an insight to your role to visitors to the Cathedral.

To join this team of dedicated gardeners, you will hold a minimum RHS Level 2 Certificate in Horticulture or equivalent, have a comprehensive knowledge of plants and health and safety, be experienced in the use of a range of garden tools and machinery, strive to achieve the highest standards possible and possess a high degree of attention to detail.

We have full-time (37 ½hpw) and part-time (18 ¾hpw) positions available.
