HRGO are working with the local council, recruiting for a temporary Covid 19 Information Officer. This role will involve working with businesses, communities and voluntary groups across the borough and advise on the hazards and control measures for Covid 19 following requests for service, or as part of targeted initiatives.
Responsibilities:
*
Inform businesses, communities and voluntary groups of hazards and control measures for Covid 19.
*
Ensure appropriate control measures are adopted and maintained by escalating for enforcement action as required
*
Assist with planning of cafe events that support local businesses
*
Undertake infectious disease investigations including Covid 19 outbreaks
*
To provide support to other teams as required
About you:
*
Relevant qualification within the field of Environmental Health essential
*
Experience working within the field of Environmental Health withing the last 5 years essential
*
Clear knowledge of Covid 19 implications and control methods essential
*
Driving Licence and access to a vehicle essential
*
Knowledge of Northgate M3PP database desirable
This role is Temporary for 4 months, with a possible 4 month extension.
