An incredibly successful construction company based in London are looking to expand their Accountancy team with a Finance Manager.
Reporting directly into the MD, this role will require strong development of an Accountancy function as well as building a successful team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within the construction industry including knowledge of specific construction accountancy packages.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working with the CFO to develop financial strategic and operational efficiency across the entire function
* Quarterly and yearly budget and forecasts
* Full responsibility for the external audit process
* Producing financial models
* Assessing and analysing project profitability
* Future system implementations as well as continuous improvement of the current system used
* Risk management
* Overseeing the management accounts and statutory accounts
* Mentoring and managing a team
Person Specification:
* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
* Experience working within the construction industry
* Proven track record of managing teams
* Commercially astute
* Experience working in a dynamic fast-paced environment
