The Accountant role could be full or part-time and would suit a qualified (ACA/ ACCA) accountant who is currently working in practice. It is a hands-on role which will give you a range of work experience and plenty of contact with your clients.

The firm works with a diverse client base, both locally and further afield.

Your new role will involve you in:
• Statutory accounts preparation to Partner Review level
• Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns
• There will be some bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT return prep for your clients. So, you will get to know all aspects of their business.

This successful practice is looking to recruit an additional qualified accountant to complete the team and provide support to the Partners. Initially, the Accountant position will be based in the offices to enable you to get up to speed with systems, clients and colleagues. Working from home part of the time may be a later option.

The firm uses a range of accounting software and systems, but a working experience of IRIS Accounts Production would be beneficial.

The offices are a ten-minute walk from Tunbridge Wells Station, and there are excellent rail links from Hastings, St. Leonards, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Orpington.
