Leading Edge Labels are one of the UK’s most successful packaging printers; due to an increased workload we are currently looking to expand our Print Assistant team.
There will be opportunity for the right candidate to be trained on the machines, to eventually become a printer.
If you have the following attributes, then a career in print may be for you;

• Can use own initiative
• Good eye for detail
• Quick learner
• Enthusiastic
• Well organised
• Punctual
• Reliable
Responsibilities:
• Plate laying, this is physically demanding and requires a fairly good level of fitness
• Plate cleaning
• Assisting the printer in the preparation of jobs
• Plate filing
• General housekeeping
No previous experience is necessary as full training will be given.
Shifts are rotating days & nights, these are 12 hr shifts running from Sunday through to Friday. 24 hours a day 5 days per week.
£9.00 per hour starting salary
Estimated earnings between £18,000 & £25,000 per annum depending on shift pattern.
Overtime rate at time and a ½ beyond 50hrs.
Opportunity to earn 10% monthly bonus of basic salary after 3 month probation period (discretionary)
Ideally to start as soon as possible
