Electrical Engineer (Shift)

Salary DOE - Work on shift
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Broadstairs-based client. A global leader in their field, this local manufacturer is part of a worldwide enterprise and a respected organisation to work for.
In this role, you'll be responsible for keeping site electrical equipment running safely and efficiently. This includes all planned preventative maintenance as well as fault finding and reactive breakdowns.
18th edition certification is essential for this role, along with a city & guilds/apprenticeship qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of New Electrical Systems - installing equipment for the production plant. Run tests to ensure that new machinery is ready to be implemented.
Troubleshoot Problems with Electrical Equipment - knowledgeable in troubleshooting problems with various types of equipment, such as hydraulic or robotic systems.
Repair and Maintain Existing Equipment- use tools and replacement parts to make repairs to plant and equipment. Conduct regularly scheduled maintenance.
Maintain logs - Create and manage reports pertaining to the repair and maintenance of plant and equipment as required
The candidate:
* Come from an Industrial/Manufacturing background
* Experience of a plant environment with large capacity machines and 3 phase and single-phase distribution systems.
* Ability to work on motor switch equipment and control panels.
* 18th edition certification is essential together with an electrical city & guilds/apprenticeship qualification
* A good understanding of working to Health and Safety rules and regulations
