The Best Connection are currently recruiting for multiple Warehouse Operatives to begin an ongoing assignment for our well known client based in the Aylesford, Kent area.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Order picking stock from the warehouse
- Updating order sheets
- Reporting any defects to your line manager
- Operating recycling balers
- Maintaining the upkeep and tidiness of the warehouse
Candidates must be physically fit to endure this role.
You will be required to lift heavy pieces of furniture through the majority of your shift.
Local train stations are within a 5 minute walking distance of the depot.
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for this role.
You must be able to commit to working days between Monday and Saturday.
Your standard shift times will be 07:00 - 17:00 with a 60 minute lunch break.
In return, you will receive
- £9.50 per hour
- £11.00 per hour overtime
- Induction and training
- 28 days holiday per annum
- Weekly pay
- Opportunities to progress in to different roles
- Potential permanent position following a successful trial period
