O’Rourke Contracting currently have a vacancy within their surfacing division for a Surfacing Supervisor in London and the south east.
You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the pre start and then laying operations ensuring correct day to day management of the companies surfacing site requirements.
The ideal candidate must have experience in running on site surfacing teams and a strong knowledge of all laying materials.
Day to day duties will include:
· Liaising with clients to ensure works are completed to an acceptable standard
· Planning and coordination of surfacing operations i.e labour,plant,materials
· Measuring of works
· Completion of site based documents
· Site audits
· Deliver toolbox talks
· Management of companies health,safety,environmental and quality procedures
Criteria
· Experience essential
· Good communication skills
· Good practical and problem solving skills
· Ability to understand site drawings
· Driving licence
· Flexible attitude to overtime if required
· SSSTS
· Supervisor NRSWA
· CSCS
· Knowledge of Microsoft office and excel
Salary and benefits
· 40-45k dependant on experience
· Company van and fuel card
· Company phone and laptop
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm - Overtime as required
