Every year thousands of people decide to take the step into teaching and for some it's a decision that is based on wanting to shape lives and have a real impact on the next generation. For others, it's about building a career in a professional role that has meaning and value way beyond mere profits and shareholders.

The on-going pandemic has been a catalyst for people nation-wide to reconsider what is important to them. Many employees of large profit-making organisations have been (or still are) in a position of financial insecurity, and now more than ever the benefits of working for a public-sector organisation are evident. Teaching is a sound and stable career choice offering a variety of progression opportunities, professional development and is clearly a role of critical importance within every community.

So if you are a graduate or a professional who is now considering a career in teaching, join the thousands who enter this rewarding profession every year and train with Leigh Academies Trust!
