Residential Child Care Workers need in East Kent for new permanent job vacancies

We are working with an independent children's home provider who accommodate bespoke care plans with a focus on the ability to offer family environments run by a fantastic team of dedicated staff. The children are aged between 8-18 who may have Learning Disabilities and mild EBD.
East Kent - Ramsgate.
We are looking for applicant for;
Children's Residential Support Workers £16,630.00 - £18,250.00
Senior Children's Residential Support Workers £18,500.00 - £20,500.00
Your New Role
Delivering general daily care to children and young people with complex needs, including behavioural, including assisting in the development of their social and emotional growth and practical support duties as required, to include meal preparation and supervision, laundry, mending, clothes, food shopping, doctor's visits, cleaning, supervision of social activities, driving escort and collection duties, and assistance with washing and bathing where additional needs may require this.
Support children and young people by focusing upon them and enabling them to achieve the best outcomes possible. Support the child or young person alongside their own family and significant others as part of the role and will assist in developing and maintaining the child or young person's relevant and appropriate connections to family, friends and their community. On a day-to-day basis you will focus on providing environments in which children and young people can thrive.
Work rota's may include night waking duty and undertaking sleeping in duties as required; you will work over a wide spectrum of hours.
What you'll need to succeed
It would be ideal if you held an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care Children and Young people or equivalent. We are looking for a minimum of 1-2 years' experience of working in a Children's residential setting. In order to be successful, you should be passionate about providing a high level of care, dedicated to your role as a Residential Care Worker and have the ability to offer kindness and compassion.
