The Vacancy:

We are looking for a full-time Multi Trade Trainer to work with our existing dynamic team of trainers and assessors. The applicant must be prepared to travel across the South East, Essex and into London to visit learners and deliver training to them at their workplace. The role specifically requires someone with strengths in Carpentry, Painting and Decorating, Plastering and Tiling.
An advantage would be someone that holds a trainer qualification already however we will consider applicants who have experience in working within a multi trade industrial environment and have specific experience holding any qualifications of relevance.

IPS international is a leading provider of Business Skills related Apprenticeships, including Property Maintenance, Multi-Trade, Glazing, Sign Making and Warehousing and deliver work-based learning with fully equipped training centres in Medway and Dover.

The ideal candidate will be:

⦁ Occupationally competent to be able to assess learners to a high level within the Multi-Trade Industry and hold relevant qualifications within English, mathematics and IT at Grade A-C (or equivalent) to support learners with Functional Skills.
⦁ Well-motivated and able to work alone and as part of the team. You will be organised and able to plan your time effectively
⦁ Be willing to embrace changes within the industry as part of a team and move forward into the new approaches to training
⦁ Flexible, as there could be some out of hours work necessary.
⦁ A car owner / driver

Salary: Circa £23,000 - £25,000 to be negotiated on experience. A fully qualified trainer holding AET & TAQA/CAVA etc. delivering all aspects above including standards can expect a higher rate.
