Insurance Sales Manager
Barker Munro Recruitment are working with a growing independent insurance broker who are currently seeking to recruit an Insurance Sales Manager for their new business / sales team.
As the Insurance Sales Manager you will be responsible to manage growth and retention of an allocated commercial account portfolio, covering retention of existing business and developing new business opportunities through the leadership, management and mentoring of an existing sales team.

One of the key responsibilities as the Sales Manager is to encourage team members to build and generate new business income through leads and self-generated business. The role of the Insurance Sales Manager will have a small team of direct reports initially and be part of the management structure of the business. As the role develops, you will be tasked with growing the team both in terms of staff and GWP.

The role is a great opportunity for an established new business executive / team leader / manager from within the insurance market to develop and further their career.
The successful applicant would ideally possess:-
• 5+ years commercial insurance experience
• Managed staff in a commercial insurance setting
• Have a proven sales record of their own including working to targets and delivering growth
