One of our titles, Electrical Contracting News (ECN), the leading trade title for the electrical contracting market, is looking for its next editor to oversee and develop the next stage in this highly respected magazine’s history, based in our Kent offices.
As an experienced editor, you will be able to manage an established editorial calendar, introduce new features and initiatives and stay ahead of news and developments in the electrical sector.

Key tasks:
• Manage the magazine, its supplements and website
• Commission, edit, and proof editorial content
• Research and write features for both the magazine and website
• Produce editorial content to a high standard, adhering to house style
• Attend key industry events, acting as a brand ambassador for the magazine
• Be commercially minded and work with sales to generate commercial content ideas
This role would suit an established editor or an ambitious assistant editor looking for a step up in responsibility.
The right candidate will have:
• Demonstrable editorial experience
• A nose for a good story and the ability to build relationships with clients and PR agencies
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• A proactive and can-do attitude
• An eye for design and layout working with our studio graphic designers.
