Part-time Sales/Business Development Executive

We are currently working with an established business in Sidcup who are currently looking for a new Sales/Business Development Executive to join them on a part-time basis, starting as soon as possible.

Following a change in industry regulations, my client is looking for someone to assist with winning new business for the company but will be able to allow this person complete autonomy (once on-boarded) in building their own client base and account management.

The salary on offer for this role is up to £15,000 (pro-rata) + commission/bonus, pension contribution and holiday entitlement.

The main responsibilities will include:

* Developing an extensive knowledge of the local market and industry regulations
* Inbound and outbound calls to new and existing customers to win new business for the company
* Up-selling company services to increase client spend
* Managing and liaising with your own client base and account management to ensure repeat business
* Completing daily and weekly activity reports
* Keeping track of all client activity and client financials

This role would be perfect for someone with an interest in or previous exposure to the renewable energy industry but experience from different industries will also be considered. It is important for the business to find someone that is self-motivated, hard-working and confident speaking over the phone as, to begin with this role will be heavily telephone based.

This role is being offered on a part-time basis initially - 10am-2pm Monday to Friday - but there may be the option for this to turn into a full-time role after a few months.

This will also begin as a working-from-home position as the client's offices are currently closed due to COVID-19 but you must be able to get to Sidcup for when the offices re-open.
