Job Purpose:

Support the group through forecasting and budgeting cycles, co-ordinating the process at group level, consolidating results and ensuring harmonisation of output. Support the group Finance Director in the analysis of results against forecast and budget. The role will support improvements, harmonisation and consolidation of reporting the group business results, working with all stakeholders to ensure the output of the finance functions meets their needs.

Key Result Areas/Deliverables

The job holder is responsible for supporting the Finance teams and wider business with the accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks and input into financial and management reporting information that is easily understood and useful for decision making purposes.


* Support strategic plan through the consolidation of precise and timely financial reports, including provision insight alongside the numbers.
* Co-ordinate forecasting and budget cycles, performing the consolidation and analysis of results and variances.
* Support and co-ordinate the development and harmonisation of financial reporting across the Group.
* Support the process of improving analysis and control over business project evaluation and management


Key Roles & Responsibilities

The job role involves 4 principle tasks: Contribute to delivering an effective Finance function; finance processing and reconciliation; business partnering; managing and monitoring accounting risk and compliance.

Experience required

* Experience in an FP&A role.
* Understanding of financial reporting standards for both internal and external reporting.
* Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Words and PowerPoint).
* Understanding of financial reporting and ERP systems.
* Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
* First-hand experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting
* Demonstrate delivery of continuous improvement projects and processes for cost savings/ efficiency
* Extensive stakeholder management capabilities
