Assistant Underwriter - Mandarin essential
City of London
Salary - Negotiable, depending on knowledge and skills.
An opportunity to join a growing insurance company with a strong footprint within the UK Chinese community and in China.
This role will mainly focus on the fields of marketing, client relationship management & underwriting of corporate clients risks and large projects, facultative reinsurance, inward reinsurance and fronting business.
You will work very closely with the Senior Underwriter performing a variety of different tasks which will support new business, renewals, adjustments and general day to day account management.
ï·Fluent in Mandarin & English (written and spoken)
ï·At least 2 years' experience with broker /underwriting or insurance related experience (ideally in the fields of large property, construction, energy, etc.)
ï·Good interpersonal and communication skills
ï·Ability to use initiative to prioritise and action tasks accordingly
ï·Strong MS Office skills
ï·Degree Educated
ï·Good Knowledge and connection with local market are desirable
