Our client in Dover seek a Building Services Manager to join them as the company are undergoing large scale growth and development.

The primary function of the Building Services Manager is to develop and implement plan for maintaining and developing the building services and fabric assets and to deliver projects under those plans.

As the Building Services Manager you will lead and manage a team of Engineering and Project Management staff in the delivery of the planned projects and you will work collaboratively with other managers (engineers, QS, Commercial Managers and stake holders).

Duties:

* To develop and maintain asset plans for building services and fabric aligning projects with those plans;
* To act as Project Manager;
* To ensure that required inspection and maintenance regimes are in places for all building services and fabric assets to meet statutory legislation and applicable standards;
* To write and present project papers for internal approval.

Ideal Applicants will have

* NVQ Level 4/HNC or above in Building Services;
* Previous design experience of HVAC systems;
* Demonstrable engineering competence in building services and fabric and associated statutory regulations and standards;
* Demonstrable understanding of CDM regulations and Health and Safety legislation;
* Good user skills of MS Office and Project;
* A thorough understanding of procurement of both services and construction works;
* Full driving license and own transport.
