Mid Kent Electrical Engineering Co (MKE) is the South East’s largest independent electrical and mechanical engineering company with 3 sites across Kent and Essex. Due to expansion the company is looking for an experienced Pump & Mechanical Engineers / Fitters to join the team at our head office in Sittingbourne.
The role will be diverse as MKE are a reactive business, however it will involve the repair of industrial electrical equipment focusing on pumps in particular but also including: AC/DC motors, gearboxes, generators and drive systems.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on such equipment, in particular all types of pump machinery, through a qualification scheme or time served apprenticeship.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on industrial equipment, in particular all types of pumps, and to have gained a time served apprenticeship or qualification scheme.
