Are you a Production Support Technician?
Do you have a background in electronics manufacturing with knowledge of digital and analogue electronics?
Have you got strong soldering skills?
Our client based in Margate is currently looking for a Production Technician to join their team on a temporary basis.
You will be working 39 hours a week, Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm and finishing early on a Friday, on an hourly rate of £10.50/hr
As the Production Technician, you will be responsible forâ¦
* Fault finding failed PCBAs and feeding back corrective actions to other departments
* Setting up testing stations for operators
* Calibration and Validation of customer test equipment
* Diagnosing and repairing and faults
* Using continuous improvements techniques, reduce wastes, promote sound working practices and improve operator skills
Person Specification:
* A background in electronics manufacturing is preferred
* Knowledge and experience of digital and analogue electronics
* Ability to read circuit diagrams and diagnose faults down to component level
* Ability to solder and rework "Surface Mount" and "Through Hole" components
* A good understanding of mechanical and electronic assembly practices
* Fault reporting and continuous improvement techniques
* A good understanding of standard business software
