Are you a Warehouse Operative/Relief Spiral Operative based in Gravesend and looking for a new Permanent position with an immediate start!

The purpose of the role is primarily to provide effective warehouse operation / relief spiral duties for our client. Duties will include, but not be restricted to the correct storage of stocked goods, the continual rotation of stocked items, the picking and preparing for dispatch of customer / transfer orders, the safe loading & unloading of vehicles, the close monitoring of stocks, maintaining good housekeeping of the warehouse and production area.

Operations will include manual handling and the use of forklift trucks (both Reach and counterbalance).

In addition, duties will also include but not be restricted to, the effective production of spiral tube using the Spiral Tube Forming Machine, the close monitoring of both spiral & raw material stocks, the timely production of products to meet demand & delivery requirements, general maintenance & cleaning of Spiral Forming Machine and generally working within systems & procedures.

Working hours: 08:00am to 17:00pm Monday to Thursday | 08:00am to 16:00pm on Friday with a 30 minute lunch break.

Salary up to £20,070 per annum depending upon candidate skill set and experience and a further £500 when you successfully complete Spiral training.

25-day annual leave plus 8-days statutory bank holidays and further benefits after probationary period.

Ideally spiral operatives and relief spiral operatives must have the following experience:-

Sheet Metal Operator
CNC Operator
Machine Operator
Wood Work (machinery) Operator or
Anyone with a mechanical or engineering background or mind-set
