We are looking to recruit a Branch Sales Coordinator to provide effective sales coordination and business administration duties for our Client’s air movement and core business branch in Northfleet.
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager the primary duties will be processing customers orders / enquiries also working in conjunction with the Branch Manager and Regional Business Development Manager to maximise business opportunities within the sales area.
Duties include:
The processing of customers orders / enquiries.
• Purchasing stock items as necessary.
• Liaising with other departments for credit control, product availability and delivery coordination. Accurately quote transport costs and keep customers informed on delivery times, shortages and completions ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
• Customer services administration. Liaising with suppliers for product information/availability and delivery coordination.
• Develop sales through “up and add-on” selling at every opportunity. General office duties as may be required to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the branch.
The suitable candidate will have:
• Experience of working in a similar role ideally within the construction industry.
• An NVQ 2 in business administration or customer service.
• Be computer literate with proficient skills with MS Office packages including MS Excel, Word, Outlook & Internet Explorer.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• The ability to think logically and solve problems accurately and pro-actively.
• Good organisational and office / housekeeping skills.
• The ability to work effectively as a part of a team but also independently.
• To be self-motivated, flexible and willing to learn new skills.
