One of the South East's largest employers based in Dover are looking to recruit an Asset Manager, the purpose of the role is to lead the development t, implementation and operation of effective asset management systems across the business.

In this role applicants must have an engineering background and a good working knowledge of maintenance, operation, design and construction of multi-disciplinary assets, working experience in using a "mature" asset management system is essential.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent);
* Membership and engagement with the Institute of Asset Management;
* Proven engineering background with a good knowledge of maintenance, operation design and construction of a number of multi-disciplinary assets;
* Demonstrable understanding of CDM Regulation and Health & Safety Legislation;
* Full UK Driving License and use of own transport;
* Previous experience of ISO 55001 - Asset Management Systems.

Key duties:

* Grow asset management maturity across the business by implementing a developed "asset management roadmap";
* Lead the development of 'good practise' maintenance plans;
* Manage the CAD and land/building surveying resource;
* Lead the identification, implementation and operation of new asset management tools;
* Develop, implement and operate strategic and tactical asset management plans.
