Pilgrims Hospices is looking to recruit a dynamic Community Fundraising Officer at the Ashford Hospice who will help develop and grow voluntary income from the local community within the Ashford catchment area, through third party and individuals fundraising, groups, corporates and local organisations. To develop the charity events programme, its products and partnerships. The post holder will support the fundraising activities to the highest standards, providing donors with the best possible experience, first class support and with opportunities to participate in a range other fundraising initiatives to enable our nurses and medical teams to be there for the next family that needs Pilgrims support.

The charity is looking for an exceptional team player to motivate volunteers and supporters of the hospice. We are interested to hear from applicants who are have at least two years experience of working in a fundraising/marketing or business development/sales role and skills that are transferable to the charity sector. The role also requires a full driving licence and access to own transport and willingness to work weekends and evenings (as required) to support our donors and the charity fundraising initiatives.
