The Role...

You will be responsible for ensuring customers are fit to bill and fit to settle and for solving any customer journey & industry dataflow exception enquiries. You are ensuring the highest possible quality of industry data is delivered promptly, within industry guidelines and within agreed KPIs (yours and your team's).You'll be reporting to the Operations Manager and Industry Operations Team Leader. You will be a key member of the team, who will work closely with all parts of the business to ensure that highest levels of customer service are sustained.

The Day to Day...

* Actively support the processing of accurate industry data within agreed timelines.
* Participate in data flow processing & associated activities, with the enthusiasm and drive necessary to ensure industry data is delivered in accordance with agreed SLAs and industry standards.
* Resolving acquisition exceptions (objections, rejections, disputes, erroneous transfers, missing flows), flow interrogation and rectification.
* Obtaining and health-checking metering point information; read validation, billing and settlement work.
* Ensure customers are set up correctly in the billing system and are therefore fit to bill.
* Ensure billing requirements are met, which includes ensuring that meter readings are obtained and processed in a timely fashion and to the expectation of customers and industry parties
* Proactively liaise with internal and external parties.
* Assist in the compilation and review of working practices and procedures.
* Fully adhere to industry regulations and standards.



The Person...

* A level qualifications as minimum entry requirement
* Strong problem-solving and investigative skills and ability to think laterally and analyse tasks & data
* Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
* Knowledge of industry dataflows preferable.
* 1-2 years' experience in a billing environment (invoicing, data entry).
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic company; flexible approach to adapt, learn & innovate
* Effective and articulate communicator with clear verbal communication skills.
* Supportive and helpful team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
* Highly organised with good attention to detail who prioritises work well.
* Works effectively and responsibly without close supervision.
