About the role: Wilmington Academy now has an opportunity to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join their dedicated team to provide full support to the staff and students. The successful candidate will ensure the good behaviour of our students and make sure students engage in their learning during short-term absence of teachers. Cover work will be supplied wherever possible for you to use as a basis for the lessons and we will also determine your subject specialisms with you as a preference. Excellent inter-personal skills are required for this post as our successful candidates need to demonstrate that they can build good rapport with staff and students alike. This post is ideal for graduates with an interest in developing a career in teaching as the experience you can gain from this is first-hand, and also those who may have had experience within the education sector beforehand.

Working basis: Paid on Claim; you can agree in advance with the Line Manager which days you are available and can be contacted on any of these to be called into work.The role offers £77.35 per day that you work and a £10 retainer per day when you are available but not required to work. This suits those seeking a more flexible way of working as your days can be agreed in advance.

The successful candidate will start as soon as possible, on a Term Time only basis.
