Childrensalon is now recruiting for a full time Senior Merchandiser. We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual to perform a variety of tasks to support our Merchandising Department. The ideal candidate should have good oral and written communication as well as time management and organisation skills and will be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for maximising sales and profit for the business via effective stock management and analysis.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop strong merchandising strategy to optimise growth and maximise sale opportunities.
- Plan and manage the OTB to meet sales targets.
- Negotiate terms to maximise margin and minimise CS costs.
- Support sustainable growth by forecasting, planning and monitoring sales and stock levels.
- Analyse and report product sales while tracking key market trends to identify new opportunities and suggest changes when needed.
- Work with the Buying team to ensure a competitive and profitable range plan.
- Build out and manage the team to support high growth phase of the business.
- Manage relationship with Suppliers.
- Presenting sales information in an informative and engaging way to various stakeholders across the business.
- Manage relationship across the business to ensure the team objectives are supported by other stakeholders.
- Ensuring the brand mix maintains and enhances the integrity of the Childrensalon brand.

Skills needed:

- Merchandising background with proven problem-solving skills.
- Highly analytical and numerate.
- Ability to work with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- ‘Can do’ attitude.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
