We are looking for someone to join a friendly team based in Medway, Kent. The role will involve working closely with the Head of Finance. The company has seven companies managed at their site so it will be a role to get stuck into.
The role will involve:
• Posting of invoices/receipts/payments on Sage
• Bank and petty cash Reconciliations
• Monthly & ad hoc posting of Journals
• Monitoring of Management Fees
• Monitor & process Expenses & Credit Cards
• Posting/Reconciliation of intercompany transactions
• Managing and paying invoices
• Monthly income Audits & Reconciliations
• Processing of prepayments/accruals
• Helping the team in covering annual leave
• Ad hoc duties requested from Head of Finance
This role would suit a part-qualified AAT accountant or qualified by experience. Ideally, they will have a minimum of three years’ experience of working within an accounts department.
The ideal candidate must have outstanding attention to detail, be organised and preferably used Sage Line 50 in a previous role. They will be able to work well on their own and in a team. They will be able to respond well under pressure and be able to prioritise their own work. They should be self-motivated, willing to volunteer for new tasks and have a good working knowledge of all Microsoft office packages, in particular, Microsoft Excel.
