Kent based Consultancy looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing in-house team

A long-term client of mine is currently looking for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to fit into a leadership role within their Kent offices.

Who they are looking for

They are looking for a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer to join their Sevenoaks office in Kent.

The successful applicant will be expected to autonomously develop and progress designs from concept through to fully detailed and co-ordinated design packages. The applicant will be required to provide consultancy services through construction up to completion of the project.

The ideal candidate would have the following:

1. Significant experience as a Intermediate/Senior Electrical Design Engineer, ideally within a multi-disciplinary consultancy.
2. A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or equivalent experience
3. Chartered or working towards chartered status with CIBSE
4. Excellent presentation and communication skills
5. Experience in the preparation of drawings using AutoCAD
6. Experience in the use of Hevacomp and IES
7. Knowledge of BIM/Revit. Experience in using Revit would be an advantage
8. Managing and mentoring junior and subordinate staff
