FINANCIAL ANALYST
Location: East Maidstone
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Reed Finance are delighted to be working with a successful distribution company looking for a Financial Analyst to come in and help the business grow. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual able to produce concise, accurate reports easily legible for non-finance senior management.
Your responsibilities:
• Forecasting, reporting and actualising.
• Maintaining and updating the sales model, continuing improvements.
• Maintain tracking of risks and opportunities for distribution to key stakeholders.
• Working with the shared-service centre to ensure the month-end position is correct.
• Loading forecasts and P&L onto the system.
• Providing commentary on the P&L.
• Assisting the commercial team with revenue recognition.
• Ad-hoc analysis and evaluation.
• Provide a month-end pack of revenue booked, analysis against prior-year and budget/forecast.
• Assist with annual audit and SOX.
Experience:
• Newly Qualified Accountant
• Experience of working in a fast paced finance department preferably with in revenue based role, or from practice.
• Experience of working in a media environment is essential.
• Advanced excel skills
