Eurotunnel manages, maintains and operates the Channel Tunnel Fixed Link Concession between Folkestone and Coquelles, France. Opened on 6 May 1994, the Fixed Link is a rolling motorway which transports passenger and commercial freight vehicles on board Shuttles across the Channel at 140kph, in 35 minutes. It also allows the running of third party passenger and railfreight trains. The advantages of the Channel Tunnel are security, reliability, speed, frequency and respect for the environment.

Eurotunnel is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join its Safety and Transversal Processes Directorate. Working at our terminal in Folkestone, you will maintain close relationships with the Intergovermental Commision (IGC) and the Channel Tunnel Safety Authority and provide administrative support to the Safety and Transversal directorate both in the UK and France.

You will have a good standard of general education, ideally have a bilingual administration/secretarial qualification and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role.

The ability to work in an English/French bi-national environment is essential. Fluency in the French language is essential, with an emphasis on reading skills for translating technical documentation French to English and English to French.
