Temporary Accounts Assistant | Medway | £10-12.50 per hour
My client has an urgent requirement for an organised Accounts Assistant who has the ability to take initiative, to join them immediately on a temp basis.
The purpose of the role is to maintain the financial records of the business and assist the finance department in providing a complete, timely and accurate manner.
Ensure all bank accounts reconciled daily, including allocation of customer receipts/supplier payments to source documentation and all other matched to approved documentation, ensuring to post any bank fees and adjustments in a timely manner
Cover the Purchase Ledger; maintaining the accounts, entering invoices, resolving queries, taking calls, processing expenses and credit card claims, producing payment runs
Bank Reconciliation: ideally on a weekly basis, ensuring all transactions are posted and the balances match
Expenses
To be considered for this role you must be immediately available, have worked within a busy finance department. You must be reliable, highly numerate and methodical in prioritising your workload. Previous experience is essential within an Accounts Assistant role.
